Terms of Use
Effective from 22 September 2026. This document sets out the rules for using ExcelForge Guardian G1.1 Pilot.
Language notice: This English translation is provided for information purposes only. The Polish-language version is authoritative and prevails in the event of any discrepancy.
1. Scope
These Terms apply to ExcelForge Guardian G1.1 Pilot (the “Product”) — a pilot version made available for use and testing. The Product is not open-source software.
2. Rights and ownership
Project owner: Marcin Rojewski, owner of the ExcelForge project.
All rights in and to the Product, including its code, scripts, graphics, marks, names, documentation, and other elements, remain with the project owner or the relevant rights holders. Making the Product available does not transfer those rights or grant a licence to use the ExcelForge names or marks beyond the extent necessary for ordinary use of the Product.
3. Permitted use
The user is permitted to download the Product exclusively from the official ExcelForge channel and to install, use, and test it for the user’s own purposes, including in professional work or internally within a business or organization, in accordance with the documentation and applicable law.
Permitted use does not include offering the Product to third parties as the user’s own product or service or granting further licences.
4. Restrictions
Without the prior written consent of ExcelForge, the user may not redistribute, make available, sell, or publish the Product or copies of it, regardless of whether they are unmodified, modified, repackaged, or presented as official versions. Anyone interested in the Product should be directed to the official ExcelForge download channel.
The user may not modify the Product or use its elements to create derivative products, except to the extent that such a restriction would be impermissible under applicable law.
Disassembly, decompilation, reverse engineering, or other forms of analysis of the Product are restricted to the fullest extent permitted by law. This restriction does not apply where applicable law grants the user mandatory rights, including — where applicable — acts necessary to achieve interoperability.
5. Pilot nature and user data
The Product is a pilot version. Its operation, availability, or compatibility with every environment, Excel configuration, operating system, or organizational policy is not guaranteed. Before using the Product, the user should keep an up-to-date backup copy of important data.
6. Rights that cannot be excluded
No provision of these Terms is intended to exclude or limit any rights, liability, or entitlements that cannot be excluded or limited under applicable law.
7. Updates and acceptance of the Terms
The current version of the Terms states its effective date and is available through the official ExcelForge channel. The user should review the current version before downloading or using the Product.
Downloading or using the Product after these Terms take effect constitutes acceptance of them to the extent permitted by applicable law.
8. Review before financial support or monetization
Before launching donations, financial support, or any monetization of the Product or the ExcelForge project, the owner will conduct a further legal and organizational review appropriate to the planned model.
These Terms do not determine whether a donation or another form of support constitutes unregistered business activity, entrepreneur status, or any other legal classification.
9. Contact
Questions about the Product may be sent to support@excelforge.eu.
